po po

I feel that the police force around here is almost a joke, their job revolves around youth crime which only goes as far as a couple of kids doing graffiti or smoking weed. They are way too on top of everything and over-do any kind of law that they believe they can enforce. I have never heard of an actual crime that has occurred in Flemington that caused our society to be in danger or to feel afraid. I believe that the people have a better chance of saving themselves in this area because the cops have no real experience with crime or 'trouble'. If there's anything that really gets to me, its the whole department and how they can do what they do and get away with it. The only tip or advice I can really give to anyone who lives in this town is to drive with the most caution possible and buy one of those pig detectors, you'll probably need one if you don't want a ticket or don't want to get pulled over at all.

  1. You do make an interesting point about the police's experience. We're lucky enough to live in a fairly safe community so police officers often deal with traffic and misdemeanors. Every once in awhile there's a bank robbery or murder that they are prepared to handle, so we should be thankful for that. How do you think we can improve the relationship between the police and the public?

  2. Cops still train at the academy and do other training activities. Plus most of them have some military backround
